ive been running an NOS 125 shot for awhile and it works great. however, the car is now in pieces as I am in the process of putting a cam in it (little bit at a time over the winter)

anyway, I was wondering if the fuel system can hold up to a tqV2 cam AND the 125 shot, or if I will need to upgrade the fuel pump.

its a 98 trans am, so intank pump would suck, but ill do it if i have to (but id like some input about inline pumps, ive heard mixed things about them).

mods are LT's 3"OR/y, lid, 125 wet kit, 232/234 595/598 113lsa cam, HPtuned with wideband.

so how about it? will the stock fuel pump hold up to this?

Racetronix kit is probably the way to go.

 

When I added the 150 shot, I also upgraded the fuelpump to the Walbro 255lph intank, good assurance for adequate fuel, especially when you're on the juice.

found this after doing a search, ill probably go this route unless anyone has any better options for me. i was hoping i could find a cheaper inline since ill have to drop my entire tank to get it in there..... damn 98's ....

 

at this point getting the racetronix kit would be your best option. It will take some work to get it installed, but hey your going to be good for a very long time.

 

The racetronix system is deffintly the way to go. With the racetronix system you will be good for about 650 rearwheel HP. We stock the racetronix systems as well.

yeh go for a racetronix, and the customer support at nitro daves is amazing so i would recommend going with them.

 

You will like the that kit it is really straight foward install and so far i have had no issues with it.

 

I think you already get the idea, but here goes one more time. You need a better pump. Way to many stories about the stock pump giving up on its own, let alone with mods and or nitrous.
