I was wondering if you guys could help me pick a good race gas for my car nothing special just a bolt on lt1. i was thinking of c10 but i have read that some people are running some other Oxygenated unleaded fuels such as ms 103 and ms 109. correct me if i am wrong but if it is Oxygenated wouldnt it make it run lean. thanks for the help

It depends how much you want to spray, and how much timing you run. In my 96 I ran 106 on a 150-175 shot. I would have to go back and look at my tune to see how much timing I ran.

I've been running ms 103 for about 3 years now with a 150 hit! The VP ms 103 is more than fine!

I have guys running Sunoco 104 in some of there bolt on LS1/LT1 Cars and 150 shot..Any thing more, I would recommend some 110

The Oxy fuels are Loaded with Ethanol which will corrode and gum up if your car sets for days or even weeks ata time with it still in your tank...What ever fuel you you, stick with that fuel and don't mix...

also true, It will lean your car out if your car is not tuned for it due too the Ethanol and Specific Gravity that is lighter and does not leave any moisture in the Head/Combustion chamber..Some people change too that fuel and Burn there motors up after a few hits..If your carbed, you must jet up and if F.I. you must tune up a bit..No different than heating your bottle too 1200-1300..All that does is put you on the Danger Isle and cost you Big Bucks....

Well aren't I just the stupid *** Funny you say that, because the rep. from VP told me that the ms 103 is good for compressions up to 15.1. So I guess you could lol, right? Because your wasting your money on that 110 running just a 150 shot and did I forget to mention your probably wasting money on O2 sensors also, right? LOL at you!

like I said earlier! 104 is Unleaded and and can use safely on 02'S AND if your only shootn 150...If your shootn more then thats a different story!

I personaly do not like the Oxyg FUELS...They are corrosive and require much maintenance too your Fuel System and leave the combustion chamber Dry as heck..For the guy that has money too blow and spend and don't care, that fuel is for him..For me and others where money is scarce and worked hard for we have too buy and go with the best that will not hurt our sport and Hobby!
