We offer a launch controller/2-step for the LS series engines and we added a spark retard feature to our launch controller several months ago (link to product instructions) but we would like to know if we should make additional changes to the product.

We are about to produce our next batch of circuit boards for the launch controllers and we would like to get feedback from different users or potential users regarding what additional features, if any, we should look into adding to the controller.

BTW - we also offer a MPH based switch that works like an RPM switch but triggers off of vehicle speed (output from the PCM) so you can use it to disable a 2-step/launch controller or you can use it to enable nitrous at a specific vehicle speed. Here is a link to those instructions. We don't have that product listed on our web site or eBay store because we only have about 5 remaining in inventory. We are in the process of getting 100 more circuit boards made and we expect to have some of them assembled in about 5 weeks.

hmm that second one looks like it may benifit me. i already have a synergy 2 step but i cant use it when the nitrous is activated because it sprays at wot.

We are going to give the spark retard function of the launch controller more timing authority for the people that want to take out more timing when in nitrous and for the turbo people that want to take more timing out off the line.

We haven't gotten much other feedback on what else to add to the launch controller.

 

I installed the unit on a customers car and I really liked the quality and the ease of use ,being able to pull more timing would be a good addition .
