who is running high octane with 150 shot??

Question who is running high octane with 150 shot??

i know u are suppose to have high octane with anything above 100 shot right?? but it will suck to have to run it when i will be spraying all the time, just curious if anyone does not use it and for how long?? thanks

dry shot:
I can spray a 150shot no problem on 93 octane.
My car is tuned also. So that makes a difference. Tuned for nitrous.
But I do run 109 when racing since it seems to make a difference.

you don't need race gas for a 150 assuming your tune is safe, but I ran a standalone with mine anyways. With the standalone, I had C16 when I sprayed, and that way im sure it wouldve lasted about 3 times as long as my bottle did.

It was only .8 gallons iirc, so a 5gallon drum wouldve lasted a long while. you can run more timing with the better fuel also

NP running 150 shot on 93. Just make sure your timing isnt much over 20* peak. You can push timing a bit on higher octane fuels...

I run Sunoco GT100 regardless, spray or n/a.

thanks for the replys i wanted to do a stand alone for this reason but i havent done it yet so i just tapped the fuel rail and put a racetronix pump in so i guess i will have to be safe with my timing, i will get it tuned for 150 shot and then put a msd timing twister on it for na, so if i put race fuel in it i can up the timing a tiny bit !!!!!

i guess it would be beneficial to add a gallon or two of 100+ octane when spraying a 150shot even if the tune shows no detonation at all? just for a safety factor? it should help with cylinder temperature also, correct? I'm thinking about running 1/6-1/8 mix of race/93oct at the track
