Default HSW Bottle Opener

Does anyone use the HSW bottle opener? How/where did you mount the switch? I hate that I can not use the HSW switch panel. I just got a GM Cover Plate (10280509) and I thought I would try and modify this cover and also maybe put the Pressure Gauge in it (when I get one).
How did you mount the switch- light up or down?

Thanks,
Bill

you can get a factory convertible top up-down switch panel and wire it in to that....nice and clean install b/c is belongs there and works like a charm. just an idea.

I think that is the panel I bought. I am going to try and mount the HSW switch into that plate. The plate covers the storage area above the shifter. I use it for my cell phone sometimes.

Thanks.

thats the one. if the switch doesnt fit in there, you can get the Convertible "up-down" switch that controls the top on verts and use that switch to open and close the bottle opener. goodluck

I use the same switch on my cut outs, very clean and looks factory. Go to your dealer and order one .When you order it make shore you tell them if you have the traction control switch. They are mounted in the same cover on your console
