Default Where to get wire?

where do you guys get all of your wire for your DYI installs?
I'm looking to get a spool or two of some wire

MSC?

Should I get a few different gauges? or is one typical gauge good enough for everything?

I looked at autozone and they only have 14g in red/white/black in 100ft spools for like 12.99 a roll. I was hoping to find some blue and green as well in 100ft roll. They had blue and green in 20ft rolls only. Same at Advance Auto only a little more money.

Autozone did have other gauges as well, I was just looking for 14ga for my rewiring that I will be doing on the nitrous kit

Go to an electrical supply store. You could probably get 500' for $13 and a sheet load of colors.

I bought all mine at the autoparts store, but I just used red and black. I usually use 14 and 16 gauge on most stuff. 14 for higher amperage stuff. I've got 10 and 12 for my fuel pumps though.

I got all my wire from Home Depot, they have all the colors precut in like 18ft or so. Pretty decent price.

I used Black/Red as well, yellow as a power too.

It's actually cheaper than what you have quoted above! I paid $5.99 for a 25 ft package of 14ga. According to your post you would be paying $14.25 for 25ft. They charge the same price for each gauge but just vary the length. You asked for suggestions and I just gave you mine. Just don't be a dumb *** and use only two colors of wire for the entire install. Use a different color for each component and make yourself a basic diagram so if you ever have any issues don't the road you won't be chasing you tail.
