freezing n20 bottle
Or do I take all that **** off and freeze the tank by itself?
I have the nitrous guage on the bottle also, will that be affected?

Freezing allows the bottle temp/pressure to be lower than the mother bottle, which helps transfer the nitrous quicker.
If you use a nitrous pump you don't need to chill the bottle. I just filled my buddy's 15 # bottle in minutes with the pump, and his bottle was at room temperature. Never got over 900 psi during the fill and never got 'hot' or even warm. The valve will actually start to freeze from the nitrous decompressing from the mother bottle and going into the little one(You let them even out before you turn on the pump).
I have now been going with places that dont pump it.
the place I go to will do either, they prefer to freeze it.
They say you get a better fill when you freeze it.. So far I am believing that.
I would say freeze..
I know that the pump works. But it seems that it can give you more air??
any comment on how that works??
