Default Urgent Help ?

I have heads, cam, and nitrous to my 02 vette. It runs good when I am not spraying besides the fact that it surges and bucks because its not a good tune. I just had it dyno tuned at LG Motorsports about a month or so ago. When I went to spray a 125 shot, it kicks in and out and i believe this is due to the FPSS doing its job cuz its not getting enough fuel. BUT, it also makes a horrible sounding CLICKING noise. The best way to describe it is like the kids that close pin a baseball card to thier bike spokes and it clicks fast and loud. Thats what it sounds like. So tonight I put the jets for a 100 shot in, It doesnt kick in a out anymore but it still makes the loud and fast clicking noise??? It doesnt seem to be as loud as it was with the 125 shot but its hard to tell. Any ideas????? It didnt do this on the dyno and it was dynoed with a 100 shot. Note, the heads are AFR 205 59cc heads with the STOCK GM MLS headgasket so It should have plenty of PTV clearance, right ??? Thanks for the help guys.

Chris

just tossin ideas, but maybe a bad soleniod, ensure your jetting is correct, what is your a/f ratio - maybe lean it out, is your bottle pressure correct, is the bottle full, angled correctly, plugs. has it always done this?

A/f is a little on the rich side but I can tell you sure once I get home. What would cause detonation and what could result? I don't tune my own car so thats the drawback!

here is the graph. You may have to look closely to see the nitrous A/F.

I hope you are not on the stock Fuel Pump! I would suggest you get a wideband and log your A/F Ratio to make sure it's not lean.

Default clicking

make sure your fuel selnoid is still working and check for exhaust leaks you might be hearing it when spraying because your making that much more power. a header leak can sound like a click or snapping noise

Yes, I am! I know I know, its going to be on its way soon. What would make it go lean now and not on the dyno if I havent changed a thing....besides the fuel noid? I think I just need better fuel pump and new tune from a better place. Until then, Im not sprayin
