If I owned a business and I advised someone to do something as a firm warning to save their motor and then they go and do the opposite and then come back to me with a blown motor. I would just point to the door and yell "OUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!"

I think the problem wasn't any of those things, I think the problem was an idiot driver who thought he knew better and didn't have to listen to someone with experience lol

idk bout ya'll LS1 people, but are the ls1 stock fuel pumps the same as the LT1 stock fuel pumps? Cause I sprayed my 100 shot all the time when I had my stock fuel pump. But I wouldn't touch the 150 jets till I upgraded my fuel pump to a 255 cause I was afraid of the fuel pump not being able to keep up and then having the motor lean out and then bye bye engine

a/f switch is fine on one bank...... if one whole bank dies on you your going to know it....
checking both banks with a/f is extream unless you have lots of cash into a motor...Then could understand.....or really pushing the stock one hard with a big shot....

basic 125hp stuff.....not a big deal.....

i have run 125shot with heads, cam full exhaust and stock tuning, stock injectors, and fuel pump for several years, on my 99 t/a and even run up to 1400psi and no problems.
i guess depends on luck.

Due to the caliber of the engine stand that the motor was sitting on during these pics i would have to say that something along the way was rigged!

This happen to me on a 100 shot on a stock block. A/F was 14.5 without nitrous and below 10 with nitrous.

I have rebuilt the motor as in the sig, and made alot of changes including the fuel system. I think the last motor lost fuel from a weak pump. The motor had about 4 seasons on or 8,000 miles in the sand.

WOW if you were at 14.5 WOT then you were WAY lean to start with. you should be in that area(14.7stoichometric) at cruise but not at WOT. and being that overly rich on the bottle can be just as bad as being lean. over rich conditions also cause detonation.

Yeah thats what i'v been told. Im new to the whole nitrous thing. Sounds like 12.5 to 13 AFR is were i should be at wot. Just a question, how does over rich cause detonation with nitrous. The people i've been talking to are telling me the oppsite as far as being over rich as its better rich than lean. My nitrous kit is a ZEX wet kit and im using there recomended jets.
