nitrous damage question?
nitrous damage question? I've always wondered if a 50 shot will do the same amount of damage as a 150. I don't mean just general wear from the extra HP but if your tune is off or if there is a back fire. Also, is there a smaller chance of screwing up with the smaller shot?

HP = heat. Less HP makes less heat. Give or take. Less HP kit has a much bigger window before melting something.
I know when the retards don't engage on a small kit you get less or no damage. Can't say the same for larger shots.

I would agree with dragster, but I would also ask why only a 50 shot.
If you are spraying, do more then a 50 shot, you might be being safe, but you will not be doing any justice spraying a 50 shot..

I would like to do a 75 to 100 but the V is my DD and I sure don't want a f'd up motor. I've had a sprayed mustang so I know about all the window switches, FPSS, etc but I'm just paranoid.

I'm no expert, just stuff you see over the years. For a little extra kick in the ***, a 50 shot is fine.
Hell in the old days, guys would throw a little jet in the carb & not even retard timing on a 50 shot. Good luck.
