gainesville raceway wednesday, quick help please

Default gainesville raceway wednesday, quick help please

ok i hvae a 2001 silverado 5.3 150 shot tuned and all that good stuff, but my buddy and i havent raced yet and he has a magna charger but with just a superchips tune not a dyno tune, what could i do to ensure i beat him, could i run 118 octane fuel to help my off the line or what, i have no cats so would leaded fuel hurt my motor at all, help would be greatly appreciated

leaded fuel will hurt your O2 sensors. I would not run it. i would run 3-4 gallons of some high octane unleaded fuel to ensure your nitrous runs smoothly and safely.

Do some weight reduction. There really isn't much you can do besides that...

who tuned the truck?
