Default 100 dry shot

a buddy of mine is offering to give me a dry setup for free and i was wondering if id be alright running it........motor is a stroked 383 ls1 compression is around 11.8:1 all forged internals......i have 42 lb injectors on it and i was was wondering if id be safe to run a dry 100 shot on it mostly if the injectors would be enough fuel....its not tuned for the nitrous so im alittle worried about running it lean, and timing issues.......any input is apreciated

my #38s are @ less than 70% WOT duty cycle ive been contemplating a 100 dry shot, like to see what the answer is. I know a dry shot is supposed to add additional fuel via the PCM... if you wanna be safe run a wet shot

You can push the limit on IDC for short runs. I think he will be fine with the 42's. It also depends what type of injectors they are, as to how much they actually flow.

they are flow matched lucas injectors......i beleive the duty cycle was at 66% so i should have some room there. also with close to 12:1 compression and 100 shot will i still be alright on pump gas or am i going to need to run race fuel?

I think you're pushing pump gas with your compression alone. I'd throw some torco in it if you want to spray.
