Default Stand-Alone fuel system

I'm piecing together my own stand alone fuel system. I'm planning on relocating the battery to the trunk and buying a 1 gallon fuel cell to put in its place... What kind of fuel pump should I get? I was thinking about getting a Holley Black (or blue...which ever model comes w/ the regulator)

Anyone have any ideas, please shoot them my way! Thanks...

On my stand alone i just have a holley black with a 1gal cell up front. The black pump comes with a regulator. But there the cheapest one money can buy (regulator) Spend the lil extra and buy a good one. Mine is a BG, make sure you plumb it right so you can also hook up a flow gauge to flow the fuel off the regulator. The pro flow kit from NX is super! Aslo, hook a gauge up cause you wont hear if the pump is turned on. So, the black pump will work fine.

Ls2 bait, how would you like to do a write up on your building of a stand alone? I have two different fuel system write ups already, and this would be a great addition. Nothing fancy, like the ones in my web, so just some pics and a basic description of what the process is all about. What do you say, I have followed your posts and feel your well equipted to do it? Author credits would go your way, and being hosted on my site it has instant copyright protection. By the way, I also chose Areomotive regulator, they are trick for sure, black and red anodizing, yea. Beer is doing a EFI live write up, and another mod did the 2nd fuel write up so...

Thanks just a short write up describing what you did and any tough areas or things to point out, just look at the present two-nothing special. I could re write the info you give me if you like, as I have all the spell and grammar check stuff. the copyrighting and disclaimers protect you and I if someone uses info incorrectly. hey nothing wrong with having due credit coming your way, as i am sure you are doing it right. the Vic Jr will be here next week so soon. the write for EFI live will be soon, as I talked to Beer yesterday about it. My new engine bay is also all red (anodized) and black also. you should see these new fittings I got my hands on, black anodized with some silver anodizing on the tube parts, very trick, and the new look for engine bays like ours.
