Carb nitrous question

My buddy has a 383 sbc with forged pistons, ring gap at .035" and 10.25:1 compression. He is using a demon carb and Rpm air gap intake manifold. This is all through a th350 and a 3800 stall. As his car sits it runs a 12.4 at 110. So he got Nx plate nitrous system and were going to hook it up with a fpss, window switch, timing retard, two step colder copper plugs, bottle heater wot switch, etc. The car will also have a dedicated fuel system with race gas in it either 116 or 114. The question is what is a sensible amount of nitrous to run through that intake and plate system. Of course were going to start small and work our way up monitoring afr and reading plugs for detonation. But i have no idea what hp you would start having distribution problems or puddling? At what point should we start breaking it up in stages? I am familiar with the ls1's lt1's but the carb stuff i have no clue esp with that being a dual plane intake. Thanks for the help.

Ive seen my brother spray 300 with a air gap on a 396 sbc and it worked fine. Its a gamble and soon or later will probally lean out a cylinder or two. His car burnt a few plugs on more then one ocasion. He went to a super victor and the car ran the same number but was much safer IMO.
