Default which of these pistons for nitrous---ross or wiseco

This would be for a lt1 383 stroker with 6" rods

I am leaning toward the Ross flattops. just want to see if wisecos are equal or better for nitrous.

Below are the ross pistons they are part #94765
http://www.flatlanderracing.com/ross_sbcheavyduty.html

For the wiseco they are part #PT017H3
http://www.flatlanderracing.com/wisecoprotru-sb06.html

From what I understand both pistons are the 2618 alloy. The Ross piston has the top ring land a bit lower. I do not know if the Wiseco has this important feature as well. Also I do not fully understand which piston will give me more compression with fully ported stock lt1 heads. I also noticed the Ross lowest ringland is 1/8th vs 3/16 for the wiseco, how critical is that? The Ross piston weighs 486 grams, I could not find the weight on the wiseco. The car is a full weight TA M6 with a two stage nitrous system. Currently it has a 100 N.O.S. Flywheel Shot on the first stage and a 100 N.O.S. Flywheel Shot on the second stage. Both stages operate within the limits of a window switch(4000-6500). The second stage is not added until 2nd gear. The car will retain it"s cc306 cam for now and do a custom cam later.
I would like to increase the the nitrous to levels these pistons could handle but wanted to make sure wiseco could handle the power levels or if the Ross Pistons would be worth the extra expense. Also if there is another piston brand that I have overlooked that is comparable in price and would be compatible, I would consider it as well.
Let me know what more info I can provide to get informed responses. Thanks again.

I run Ross for years in every LS1 engine that Ive owned. And never had one problem at all with or with out nitrous.

I chose Wiseco 8cc rev dome nitrous pistons, because of their long standing rep in the spray world.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

So far it's 3-1 in favor of Ross.

I used both with great results. I suggest talking to the manufactures and seeing what part number they suggest for how ever much you plan on throwing at it.
