How are you guys launching. The way i launch car hooks decent but doesnt spray to the 100-120 mark. I thought it was wiring and have been talking to trick and he wanted me to wire in a light on the output to see if there is a delay. I havent had a chance to do that so last night on the way back from the subway 500 i hit the spray from a 20-25mph roll and it instantly hit , which tells me its not the window switch. Only thing it can be is my launch tech. I hold the car at 1600 rpms or so and at the same time push the pedal to the floor and come off the brake. (stall is a protorque 3000)
I've got a protorque 3200 and I'm leaving off idle and spraying it right off the line. my window switch is set to come on at either 2400 or 2600, i cant remember. but my car isnt spinning when i launch and the nitrous doesnt hesitate one bit, as soon as my foot is to the floor its spraying

I stall mine up let it roll out a bit and hit it.
#1 You should stall it up higher at least ~2000
#2 Sounds like you need to lower your window... what I did was made the tune/octane was good, then lower it 200rmp at a time, read all the posts on the subgect and make your oun choice Like he /\ said 2400-2600 should do it.
#3 Set the Trick at just before full voltage if it is 4.34 set it for ~4.32 as it will not always see 4.34 in my testing.

Watch your RPMs. Odds are your car is droping in RPM when you launch and it is taking that long for it to come up in the RPM range for the system to hit.
When you hold the breaks and bring the car up on idle slowly until the tires start to break loose what is the RPM?

U really think his converter is taking 100ft to get to 2900rpm? I know thats what i sounds like but i wouldnt think an aftermarket converter would take that long......if it is, i suggest u get another converter....my vig sees 3600 almost instantly, it actually goes past it.

No cammed f-body should be stalled below 4200 RPM. A well made 4200+ torque converter should be completely streetable. My FTI 5200 is driven daily. The only difference between it an a buddies 3K RPM converter is that if I let my foot off the gas while cruising at say 60 MPH, it's like the car is in nuetral instead of the tranny dragging the car to slow down. People have a bad misconception of how stalls work.
