I have a NOS mini and am going for a tune fri., I plan on running a 150 shot, haven't decided yet if it will be a straight shot or progressive.....if I progress it I would have it set up like this.

3000-6200 RPM
50% start rate
ramp 2.5 sec. or maybe even 2 seconds.
100% end rate

And that would be in reset mode.

Pretty much the same as what I was thinking. I set ramp to 2.5.

What setting did you put RPM signal setup?

You have to set the RPM up for a 4 cylinder, not an 8 and your good to go.

hmm, I am confused on that because the instructions say to set STEP C (RPM SIGNAL SETUP) to "00" for individual coil per cylinder systems where the ground trigger wire is connected to the coil (i.e. GM LS1).

The 4 setting would be when "the tach wire is connected to the tach from the engine electronic controller or distributor"

Hmm, I need to ask Speed Inc how it was setup...I'm new to this.

I know, I did the same thing, with the engine running and set on 00 hold down either both buttons(I think) and you'll see that the RPM's are off by alot...set it for the 04 and then hold the buttons and you'll see the the RPM's match your stock tach, the LS1 operates off a 4 cylinder tach signal.

Interesting...how do I check that?

Start the Goat up, arm the system, hold down both buttons on the controller so that it displays "PRO" and then scroll to section C and it will display the actual RPM?

Correction, start the car, turn on the nitrous arm switch (assuming it also activates the NOS mini), press and hold down switch #2 on the mini, it should display your RPM and match you vehicle tach. This would be if you have Step C set for 04, if it is set for 00 you will notice that the RPM's are way off.

if you need some help yell at me. I just went thru setting up my nos mini with 2 stages. Some pointers set step p. to 01 resume ramp mode so
if you lose traction and you let off the gas
it will resuming to where you left off in your ramp.
make sure you wire a relay switch for your noids the direction do not tell you this. And I have been messing with it for a couple of weeks

I wired mine without it....I even called NOS because I was also confused and they said i didn't need to wiring it in?????

Plus I've been running my system for well over a year now with no problems without the relay.
