Default Freezing Bottle

i've been freezing my 10lb bottles with the valve closed for an hour and i'll get about 7-8lbs in. then i'd have to freeze it again for another hour to fill up to 10lbs.

would it be any better to freeze it with the valve open for say 30-45 minutes, close the valve, then continue to freeze for another 30 minutes, then fill? or could this cause more problems if condensation forms on the inside of the bottle?

I freeze my bottles in ice chest for about 1 hour with the left over still in it. Take it out and turn it upside down and open the valve. The whole bottle will frost from top to bottom. Then I fill it right away, always get 10 pounds real quick.

I never let mine get that low I toss it in the freezer when I get home and fill it the next day as soon as the scale hits 26 I close it.

Worst case with 4lbs left in the bottle I pop it in the freezer for as long as I can at least 20-30 mins and always get 9-11lbs.

It takes me 2 fills to for an empty bottle I put as much as it will take warm first then pop it in the freezer and repeate.

My mother bottles are in the hot garage too.

I thought it was open valve, heat up bottle to push out old air/pressure.Then close and freeze, hook up and open valve so the pressure drop from the temp change causes a sucking action to slurp up the n02. I dunno though just what I read on here before or something.

I use to put mine in the freezer over night valve closed with some in it and have done it empty, and then the next day take it in and it fills right up real quick and has no problems.

Ive been refilling bottles for my customers for many years now, and I have never ever frozen or even chilled the bottles. I use the NX refill station. I have no problem gettinng a bottle filled in nless then 1 min. That's fom zero to FULL in less then a min. The refill station from NX isn't real expensive either. You may want to look into getting one if you fill bottles enough.
