mine is in the well where the ttops go. When I want the tops off I fold down the rear seats and lay them flat there with a towel inbetween them. I did the same thing with my third gen but I had a speaker box back there instead of a bottle

Do the best of both worlds...what i did was mount one on the rear deck lid and then had one hidden in spare tire compartment...that way i can tell people i have a bottle but come back here and look its unhooked(have to run a dummy line)

Then when you spray them they are like WTF?!??!?!

IF you got em, flaunt em.

to me it really depends on your state laws for having bottles. For PA you have have them but they cant be hooked up to the main line. if you live in a state that is more strict, then hide them

I am in the middle about this question so I say you put it out in the open and hide another.

I can put it on the rear dec above fuel tank, and i can put it between the rear seats. I can't decide one way or another. Anyone have any advice?

It will be a street/show/strip car.

I am a bit worried about cops seeing my bottle and possibly theft. Want to keep my interior clean but at the same time i think a bottle would be an awesome show piece.

i think its kinda a younger vs older thing.... when i was younger i wanted my bottle in the hatch area cause it looked good and i wanted people to see it.... keep in mind this was before everyone and theyre mamma had nitrous around 1999 or so..... now today that im older i want my stuff looking stockish and keeping it classy some what..... when i put some nitrous on the car i have right now it will be going in the fender well due to its a good place to have it.... and im not worried about hiding everything in the engine bay cause i dont care who sees it in there..... but i like a nice clean install in the engine bay and if something can be mounted in a less noticable place i would like it there! just my opinion on this stuff! jake

I didn't put mine where the backseat was to "flaunt" it. I just put it there because it was convenient to fill and turn on. I got pulled over about a week ago and the cop was like "ohhhh... you got nawz". I wanted to slap him. Regardless, he didn't try to cite me for it at all.

Personaly if your trying to bait people in to race you for $ then hide it or if your a neat freak or worried about cops. If its a car u rarely drive and do quite a bit of car shows. put it in the open lik right between thoose seats.

I had mine on the rear deck but it was always empty... So when my car would woop the other they always accused me of using it... So what I did today was I hid it. Now when some punk wants to race all I have to say is put the cash up and turn the bottle on.

HIDE IT... TRUST ME

Why not just mount it where everyone can see it for display then if you want to hide it just cut the bottom out of an old duffle bag and slip it on.
