Default Can I shorten this nitrous line?

Can I shorten this nitrous line (the one from the plate)? This is what came in the HSW kit. It seems to be longer than needed.

Yes you can , you ll just need to get a high pressure fitting from one of the nitrous sponsors or summit

I thought about shortening my line also. The thing is, the line is that length for a reason. Shortening it would increase the possibility of a lean spike when the system activates.

You can shorten it if you want, but as stated above there is a reason for the unequal length of the nitrous and fuel line. There are pretty significant variations in pressure and density of the nitrous and fuel lines. As a result the nitrous will be discharged before the fuel does, causing a lean spike. This is the same as any other system out there, its simply the nature of the game when using a wet kit. To combat this we lengthen the nitrous line to give the fuel a chance to arrive at the discharge points at roughly the same time.

So as i said, you can change them if you want, but they are unequal as a result of hundreds of dyno hours trying to eliminate a lean spike.

Soulden the fuel line be shorter ? ,because of the nitrous flows so much faster than the fuel
