The tape worked in mine perfectly. Just got to do it right and there shouldn't be any problem.

I dont think it helps, but all of my fittings are from HSW, and they all went together flawlessly (Used paste as well).

ant ideas then? I have tried 3 different manufactures along with HSW fittings and they all do it.

Any help will be appriciated.

i may have just had some bad paste, but i everywhere i put it leaked, went back with red locktite and never looked back. just hope i never have to tear anything apart lol

just a thought, i bet it would make disassembly easier if they were hot like after a long drive.....for the loctite guys

I've used loctite, tape, and paste, depending on what I had around the shop.....never had a problem with any of them.
