Default Gauge won't stay powered when car on

I have the trick perf p series gauge.

Works fine with car off. I turn the car on and it keeps resetting.

I am gonna try to get a better power and ground for it but other than that, any ideas.

I played with the gauge a bit and am still having issues.

My car just got a new battery,

Gauge's white wire goes straight to the fusebox. (Tried different circuits with no luck)

It is grounded right on the firewall with its own ground.

I will try to run it right off the battery

This is probably related to your other voltage issue with the alternator like I said in your other thread. If I had to guess, the gauge isnt likeing the spikes from the bad voltage regulator in the alternator.
