Default My nitrous install (pics inside)

I wanted to show off the system but I wanted the wiring to be a clean and hidden as possible. I could not find fuse holders I liked anywhere. I also wanted some sort of distrobution block which I also could not find in a small enough size. So here is how it came out.

I used curcuit breakers for distrobution blocks and I am happy with the way it looks. I also put 4 single fuse holders together and attatched the to the column. You can also see the WOT switch on the pedal.

For the switches I wanted them in the console but not attatched to the console in any way. The console gets removed all the time because the transmission gets pulled out alll the time. So the switches fit snuggly between the dash and the console when it is installed.

The switches are arm, bottle heater, and purge. There is no button to control the nitrous. It is cotrolled by the WOT switch and window switch once armed.

I put the window switch in the glove box along with the cables and reset button for the wideband.

The solenoids are on a nitro daves cyl head mounting bracket, and the wirriing is well hidden.

A little pic of how the car has been sitting for at least 2 months now. It's hard to tell in the picture but there are two t56's torn down laying all over the place around the car.

Let me know what you guys think about it.

It's just one of those multi purpose brakets that comes in the nitrous kits bent up to bolt to the pedal. It took a little time to get it right.

Thanks for the complements guys. I forgot to take a pic of the bottle but it is mounted between the rear seats on one of nitro daves bottle brackets. No need for an opener or anything right there, just reach back and open her up. I also have the pressure guage mounted in the panel with the tcs switch.

Looks great! Don't you hate having your stuff torn apart and not drivable? I've got my '70 apart now and it's killing me!

Yeah it sucks. I only get every other weekend off so I always plan on going racing that weekend, but I don't get to.

Nice clean install love it! I'm not looking forward to wiring the nitrous AND the I.C.E. in my car later this year.

And I hate having the car sitting... It's even worse when it's not even torn down lol at least then it'd have an obvious excuse . Mine sat for just over a year been, almost 2 since I'd been to the track lol, but she'll be back on the road this week with a forged 346 finally.

I do like the nice clean setup. now dont take this personal and I know it is in the glove box, so not easily seen, but I feel that could be cleaned up a bit more. Again not a big deal as that wont be seen that often, it just seems like a lot of wires in the open. Good setup though my friend.

Yeah I guess I do need to at least tie up those wires as they can not be easily shortened because its like computer cable. Those cables are for programming the wideband.

Real nice set up. Very clean. Where would I get the distribution blocks from? That's pretty neat.
