Mine stays in the car, in direct sunlight, but I have an NX blanket (the nice one) along with a braided blowdown setup that runs outside the car with a bulkhead. I think mine got up to 1200 the other day (I can't remember if I had the heater on for a while or not), but I spray it at 1200, so it worked out nice lol.

In Colorado, it doesnt really get hot enough even in the Summer. Leave the bottles in the car as you never know when a bike wants to try and race. Most of the time though the bottle doesnt even need to be used

My fix for always having to fill the bottles for the viper of course. I have two, well will shortly have two. Always one is full, and the other one will be in the shop getting filled. when one runs out, the other one will be ready to replace. I was going through bottles about every other day on the street with a single 10 pound one running a 200 shot. Does anyone think I have a problem going through that much Nitrous? I may upgrade to two 15 pound bottles. One thing about these 10 cylinder engines is they absolutely love Nitrous. Its as if they are begging for it. a 200 shot gives you roughly 275rwtq. that was on a conservative tune.
