Default Spraying 150- only getting 90

I went to the dyno and i dyno 415 rwhp and 375 tq n/a. And with my 150 dry HWS kit, i dyno 505 hp and 504tq. My A/F is 11.8 and its pulling a total 10 degress of timing. My question is: why im not getting close to 150 rwhp? any guess?

that is a lot of timing being pulled for a 150 shot. i would think it would be 6 degrees of timing being pulled using the old 2* for every 50.

you have WAY to much timing pulled for a 150shot. what cam do you have? what fuel pump?

Do you have a bottle warmer? are you hitting the nitrous at 1000psi bottle pressure? what gear are you dynoing the pull in? those can play a major factor. Are you sure you have the correct N20 and fuel yets? hear any leaks?

Every thing has pretty much been covered above. Just a simple little glitch, but good that you are checking things as you go, the correct method for setting things up. I have a feeling it's something small like low bottle pressure or wrong jets as the MAF is reading correctly and thus your fine a/f, so just de bug and you will have a rocket. i agree, to much timing pulled for a 150 shot. if you haven't added to your stock timing i would pull only 4°. Good luck
Robert

Every real potential "problem" was asked already. Top 3 potential issues I see is all that retarded timing, bottle pressure and jet size. What size jet are you using?

Its a tsp 233/239 cam. i,m running a walbo 255 fuel pump. n/a its running with 28 or 29 degress of timing. i have 4.10 gears. and its in 4th gear in the dyno. The pressure was around 970-1000 psi on the dyno. it a dry kit i dont hear or see any leaks. will timing kill that much hp?

timing will absolutly kill that much hp!!!! I felt a BIG diffenrence with 1degree less on a 75pill for a total of 2 retard instead of 3!! its a HSW wet kit.

I spray a 150 every now and then and my timing is set for around 24 degrees. I don't get any knock or detonation with that.

Do you have TR6's?

If he was out of injector then it would start to lean out up top. At 11.8:1 AFR I don't believe he would run out of injector.

also some dry kits are rated @ flywheel hp (i think) so if that was the case you would probably only see 120-125 rw or so.with a safe afr and pulled timing 4-6 * i think that 120-130 rw would be about right.
