Help with nitrous tune (timing)...
Hey guys. I ran a 110shot at the wheels last year. I attached my hpt file so you can see what my timing is at. It looks like 28 degrees. For some reason it dips at 4000rpm then back up to 28 degrees...
Long story short, help me setup a nitrous tune for a 125 or so shot I am using. Can you scale the whole chart or where do you take out 3-4 degrees?
Any help would be appreciated.
I ran 92 octane last year and a low 12.xx afr.
I can run higher octane at the track...100 or even 110+ i think.

Check out my tuning web site there is a timing pull write up and you may get some insight. Also, the thread, Introducing the HSW Interface, I show some screen captures and explain a timing pull scenario and again you may glean some insight. Actually, you can do a custom timing pull curve; Meaning, you can have max timing pull at your torque peak and then add in a tad bit more as the RPMs gain all the way to red line, for a little extra power. However, custom timing curves should be left to those with experience. It's better to pull a bit more than needed, than it is to have a bit more than you want, a safety blanket. Read up a little and you'll see it's really not hard to do or understand. Good luck.

I'll have to open the file on another laptop. Basically you'd want to be at 24-25 degress in the high/low octane tables from 3200rpms up and from say 55kpa across. With 28 degress I'm surprised you not getting some bad detonation. Especially with timing that high and air/fuel that high.
This is a wet kit does it matter?
