What Spark Plug Is 1 Step Cooler Than Stock-- TR55IX?
I only hit the nitrous 2-3 times a week out on the street (so not very much IMO). The packet that came with my NOS5176 kit calls for plugs only 1-step cooler than stock.
Would the NGK TR55IX be the right plug for my particular application?
I see more and more people using this plug.
If that plug is only 1 step cooler from stock, what would be a good gap for regular stock engine with occasional shot of nitrous (2-3 times a week)?

Denso iridium, 1 step cooler. .050 w/o N2O- .040 w/ N2O.
Although expensive ($10-$12) a shot they are the most durable (Iridium 8x harder than platinum), only .4mm electrode (requires less energy), U groove for direct spark path and a perfect 360o seal.
