What is the highest MAF frequency anyone has logged?
For thoes following my dry problems. My maf readings are getting beyond the max of 12,200hz, which I thought would be fine except that when they do I'm getting spikes down to 0 instead of staying at the max.
So what is the highest Hz you have logged?

When I had the MAF sensor on my 416 I logged a max freq of 11.9kHz N/A. KcJeffs stock motor with a 125 dry shot logged 10.95k Hz. I've got alot more ,ogs at home and can look for peak Hz later on.
I pulled the nozzle back (farther away from the maf)and set my window switch real low (5500 rpms) for last saturdays race and the car loved it. It went 11.45with a 1.57 60'.That was the fastest it has gone, and was great except I was in an 11.50 class.
I didn't log the runs, because I don't like the distraction of having the laptop in the car during a race, but I'll log a run next test session.
I think what my problem is, is that my computer does that dropped signal thing, when the frequency gets too high. I wonder if other cars do that too
?

Basicly I'm looking for more people who have fast cars who use the MAF for dry enrichment to see their experience, because I can't make an assumption off of just 2 cars.
You need to search the PCM section. IIRC you change the parameter at the top of the Hz, it has a value the PCM wont except. Change the value then it doesnt go to zero then it continues up in SD mode. I think the FI guys defeated this issue long ago but I never really paid attention because MAF's are for girlie girls.

I searchd around in the FI section and found there is a "maf freq. high fail" feature. which is C0301 in efi live. It basicly disregards any value higher than that as bad data, and mine was set to 13,500 (factory). I know it goes higher than that while on spray.

I haven't tried changing it yet, but that makes total sense. I'll post up after I try it, which may be a few days since rain is on the way.
