Default Hesitation on Shot.

as soon as i hit the wet shot. 75 or 100 it hesitates for a split second then goes? wat could this be.

i talked to the guy at trick perf. and he said it could be my window switch wot voltage. so i turned it down to .40amps and it still does it, i usually purge the system before i hit it so idk wat elsse it could bee. thanks

I was going to say purge it, but said that you do that everytime.

Maybe one of the solenoids is sticking.

I had a similar prob to this once ! make sure the full throttle switch is getting fully engaged and if thats not the prob you have a bad solenoid.Mine you would arm it then going down the trackit would hesitate then a few seconds later it felt like a bomb was going off under you it ended up being the solenoid was hanging open.hope that helps alittle!!

It could be a brief lean spike or even a rich spike at the beginning of the activation. Whats your AFR on the juice? Whats your launch RPM? IF you are bogging the car it could be the time it takes the RPMs to reach the activation point

If you have your window switch set at say 3500 rpms and your hitting it at 3000rpms then there will be a small delay before you get to 3500rpms and the nitrous turns on....(what chris said )

Also make sure that the first 2 digits on the display are "1" when you floor it... The left digit being the TPS output active "1" means its seeing the WOT voltage.....the second digit being the first output and a "1" means your within the rpm window you had configured. Both digits need to be "1" in order for the nitrous to spray.

See installation Instructions here>>>>

Let me know if you have any other questions!

thanks guys. ya it works fine i have 1.1.0 when engaged. u can deff feel it hit. but it hesitates for a second or two.
we r still in the process of tuning it with hp tuners becuase we cant seem to get it to rich'n up on the bottle. the o2 voltage is in the 650-750's.

i know i have proper power to the window switch cus its hooked to the battery and for the tps voltage i had bumped it down like trick said from the actualy .45 volts or w/e to .40

so i knw its not a wot issue.

anymore help is good.
thanks guys.

What kit?

Try for a little more bottle pressure ~1000 or a little more and see if that doesn't fix it.

ya we hooked hp tuners up a few hours ago. tuning with the o2's its still running lean on spray and haveing a lean spike when it first is engaged.

im still runnin stock pump so do u think it could be that? im going to hook a wideband to it sometime this week and put a manual gauge on my fuel rail to see if its holding pressure the the solenoids.

Mine was doing the same thing. It was fine for awhile and then started hesitating. I tried everything. I ended up tracing it back to the car battery. I have a bottle heater and that will kill a battery over time. I had a brand new red top Optima in it. The way I found out was the car eventually would not start in the staging lanes even though the battery gauge was reading fine. It killed the amperage in the battery. Try charging your battery and then spray it.
