Default Reading spark plugs, mine are rusty looken?

Pulled on plug today on my LS1 car and it has a rust color like coating on it that I can just rub off.

Electrode looks fine and the wear looks good, but my startups are always a bit rich, so I assume its just from running rich from the cold startups?

Or is it time to change them out?

I suppose about 7K. Thanks I will get on it I have had a set laying here for the last year, but been busy with the other car so I have been putting it off. Been running around on a mail order on the F-body so was thinking maybe its to rich.

Thanks

Sounds like you were running unleaded race gas.
It always leaves a rusty looking soot residue that wipes/sprays right off on my plugs.
