It wasn't something anyone working there did. The person you are talking about worked on my car and Sean's Camaro as well...

Anyway, back on topic. Thanks guys!!

im not talking about the som ss with black wheels im talking about the som ss that was taken over there to get a t-trex put in and then they said its too big for a stock motor after it was driven and on the dyno and messed up the valves. im guessing the installer didnt degree it right? then after he gets it back the car burns up lol. good job solid tech!

"You have to absolutely fly cut the pistons!"

Bahaha. I talked to Thunder and they said it was the installers fault...

Direct words from Thunder, "You do not need to fly-cut the pistons... You can if you like for peace of mind. The T-Rex will fit on stock cubes if installed properly."

And Greg's car... You gave him the pistons off your LS1 GTO and they kept telling him that they were LS2 pistons. So he had to buy more, more hassle for nothing. His car has been there since May, don't get me started on the crankshaft...

This is not the place for you to talk ****. If you have a problem with Solid-Tech, take it there. Don't be such a badass and talk about them on the internet.

Oh god, "dont be such a badass"

Yeah, you've never acted a fool before. And who gives a crap if Solid has done many other cars, all we know (and have proof) is that his burnt to the ground. 100 good ones, one horribly wrong one.

Heh, anyway, enough with the thread hijack.

Exactly, with all the excellent cars Solid has put out, how could one burn to the ground?????? It just doesn't add up.....

If I have a problem with someone I take it to them, unless they are no where to be found except the internet. Nothing Solid did caused this car to burn. It happened a week later, any number of things could have caused it. Installing a cam didn't.

Exactly, stop hijacking the thread.

maybe it was the way it was put back together?
bottom line, they were the last ones to touch under the hood, who else could have messed something up?
