were does the keyed 12 volt soure go, sorry if thats a dumb question.

Pink traction control wire.

Or there is an open spot on the fuse box, you could use one of those add-a-link fuse tap things. A couple dollars are an autoparts store.

the fuse box on the side of the dash has a slot for switched 12 volts. IGN

If its on a switch, it dosnt have to be a keyed source....just make sure they are off when the car is off and not being used...

cigarette lighter will blow a fuse. just go directly to a empty location in the fuse panel.

99puterSS, I used the pink traction control wire that is on the switch itself.

I always wire them directly to the fuse panel. As someone said above, just run to the auto parts store and pick up a add-a-fuse and you'll be all set!
