damn, that's a nice push system for $200.
nano is not a rip. and since there isn't a cheaper alternative readily available for everyone to purchase, why shouldn't they charge more?
the price was definitely discouraging because it was difficult for me to perceive the value. before i bought it.
after i bought the nano kit, i was ecstatic. i had no idea how great it would be until i actually experienced the benefits:
when you have full bottle pressure at the end of the run and already have the pressure in its sweet spot for the next one.
when you can cruise around and forget about your nitrous setup until you actually need it at the moment an opportunity arises - at which point, all you have to do is open the bottle and its already waiting to send liquid nitrous into the motor at 950 psi.
not having to worry about going rich/lean because of changing bottle pressure.
one of the biggest things for me was not having the car fall on its face at the end of the run - i always felt like it was pulling, but nowhere near like it does now.
with regards to nitrous being a lot of bang for the buck, the cost of my nano kit is definitely worth every penny.
if you can build it yourself for cheaper and have it deliver the same reliable consistant pressure, more power to you (and damn you for holding out on us). i could never go back to a bottle heater.
