Not sure if you guys care to see an old school carb setup but here's a few pics of the start of the install on my '70. I went with a NX Gemini Twin plate system. I'm also doing a custom standalone where battery used to be located. I can't wait to get it done!

Here's some updated teaser/mock up pics (I should call the motivation pics. Motivation to get the damn thing done. I sitll have a lot to get done, but it's finally getting closer. Just got my head studs the other day and should have them install tomorrow and the heads torqued down. Next, I have to button up the electrical rack (relay, controller and fuse mount) run all of my electrical and install my stand alone system. Let me know what you guys think. It's come a long way appearance wise from the before pics. Will keep you guys posted.

Figured why not post some pics of my install on my 02 GT( I know lol). First install we ever did and it ended up fairly nice. Nobody can tell I have nitrous unless they have had a nitrous kit before. This install was done like 7+ months ago and I never got around to wiring the purge. Trying to sell the car so I can buy an LSx car so

The standalone is in, the engine bay is repainted but the lines are still getting bent for the dp and wet kit.

Some nice set-ups on here for sure. there is a vette pic thread some where on here? Anyway, here's the latest pic of my set-up, though not 100% done yet. it's three stages all dry running the stock PCM/ECM with stage 1 being a Direct Port Dry. Much more to do and so little time, lol.

Many more pics in my Fquick garage.

Very nice install Robert!! That is one bad *** dry system for sure. Makes me want to convert my HSW plate to a dual stage dry down the road. But I have to finish the above project first.

Thanks, and coming from the detail master that means something. I hope to get some of the small items and areas detailed out similar to what you do. However, getting it going and just being clean was my first goal, then tricking things up down the road. Actually i like doing it this way as there is always something new to change or add and that's one of the reasons n2o is a favorite to hot-rodders instead of the when your done your done turbo installs.

Well, no. It was close to start with (actually touched and transfered paint, when using clay for mapping clearance), but then I added a 1" Wilson spacer/burst panel for safety and plenum tuning. So now there is no way a stock hood would clear. Also, using an elbow with such a tight radius really effects the flow up top and that's where i was looking for gains (6-speed and wanted shift points raised to keep rpm drop at a minimum). I have talked to Ryan at elbows.com and he is going to build an elbow to my specs (template) that will have good flow and work with all of the stock Vette components, but will require hood mods. I am going to add a Z28 style scoop, which really is easy, it is a bolt on, then later we can fill/radius the edges and paint to match. For now it will just be flat black until the $$ appear, lol. I tell myself, it's race car, not a show car, but still we want things looking nice in the end.

I got the black & red fitting from Jeg's but there's also another place called Redhorse Performance that also makes the fittings (I think they make them for Jeg's). Here's a few updated pics
