New Nitrous bottle and standalone mounted
New Nitrous bottle and standalone mounted I'm kinda tight on room in my C5 as theres the fire system bottle, rollbar, 2.5" minitub, and the need to want to store the top and actually carry things. I made a mount that secures the bottle to the rollbar and to a reinforcement plate that is bolted to frame welded flanges. Should be very secure and actually makes it easier to access the bottle. The bottles will need to have the burst discs swapped out fore the blow-down tube. Also the bracket will need to be fully bolted in. These are just preliminary pics. The standalone is a Nitro Dave unit and is set for 54psi (as I've bench tested several times). Comments are always welcome

Some updates for Robert and the other guys
I've been busy with a new job and setting the car up for this upcoming Hot Rod Top Speed Challenge. Parachute mount and release handle is done, nitrous kit just needs some dyno time. Going with the FJO controller and a single Dynotune 150hp kit. I'll be spraying 2nd through 5th and hoping for high 180's/low 190's in the standing mile in a true street car. The nitrous and purge solenoid bracket is actually painted black now and the fuel solenoid is tucked under the radiator shrouding on the passenger side.
Yeah it's dirty, its a car and will be spit shined soon enough. The wire in the second pic is loose and not connected to battery power yet.
