Default First runs with N20

Like it says, i ran my harris speedworks kit yesterday. The formula in my sig runs 13.2 at 104 n/a. my nitrous run netted 12.5 at 114 with a 75 shot, then i jumped up to a 100 hit and ran a 12.03 at 117 with a 1.89 60' had to lift due to trans.

My trans slips 2-3 i havent tuned the trans so i hope it will help if i do, when it goes to shift it trys to bang the rev limiter.

I also have 28 inch mickeys

But the car loved it. today i ran it on a country road and it pulled harder with a fresh bottle but it set a ses light, and started to miss slightly but smoothed out later.

any advice is good, also tips on trans tuning.

have you read the code? get some type of window switch and dont spray threw the shifts, stock trans cant do it for very long. mabye change the trans filter, put some good atf in and get a trans cooler to help it live
have you checked a/f to see what it is?

Yea i know i need a window switch. i will wait to run it till i get one. no a/f when the car was dynoed there a/f meter was down what they said. looking at the plugs they looked fine no sign of any seeable problem with fuel lean/rich condition. over the winter iam gonna buy a a/f gauge. and a new pump.

negative on the code, hp tuners is at my bro's house.

If you're in the market for a window switch, definitely look at the new HSW microedge. The price cannot be beat for all of the features that it has. I wish it was out when I got my Trick switch. Although that may be changing in the near future.

i just took out my msd digital window switch last weekend. Had to go with a timing tuner for tuning purposes. I was very happy with it. Get her tuned up and hit it with a 150 shot, my stock engine went 11.2 at 125 on a 150 hit.

A torque converter would help you a lot!

just curious what country road did you run it on? I live in dayton and I'm always looking for country(cop free) roads to test my car

I would be pretty happy with a 12.03 and stock converter. After seeing these results its got me considering going with this kit.

bottle pressure was at like 950 for the country run but at the track was around 890- 900. what is optimal psi.

as far as country roads it was out in clayton, there are tons of roads out there but state troopers always drive up them. so hey really are not that great. i sprayed once from about 3k and left a 40 ft patch of rubber straight as a arrow.

For the first 6 months this year I was coming to Dayton once or twice a week. I rarely ever seen cops unless it was on 75 or when I was in Drexel at my friends house. Always seen sheriffs there though. I would prolly do it on 33 between 3rd st and turner. As long as there isn't no cars in the way of course. )

you wont see to many cops in dayton because they are always recruiting. the state gave a grant to have more state troopers in the area. drive down 35 towards xenia there are always troopers there or on 675. 35 west though is one hell of drag strip i've done 140 up there at night.
