Default A/F quest. lean shut off switch

ok, well i have the dynotune lean a/f shut off switch, and i ran it into my o2 sensor...well are these accurate on your a/f because my car at wot is at 9.8,and when its at idle im at around 7.4, im pretty sure my car isnt running that rich...is there something i have to do to set it up correctly, when i installed it?? i do plan having my friend hook up hp tuners on its, and seeing if he can check my a/f, but i thought id ask you guys first, thanks!!!

are you using a wideband or the OEM narrow band sensors?

A wideband is more accurate than the narrow band sensors for nitrous tuning purposes.....not sure if that is the issue, as I am do not have a full tech base for the Dynotune A/F switch....try sending them a PM or calling them . Dan or Dean will be happy to help

no you just need to program the lean cutoff to a narrowband o2, it will read in voltage not in a/f ratio. read you dynotune manual and if you dont have it there is one on their web pages. The narrow band is less accurate than a wideband, but still works!

good info, I didn't know they could be used with the stock narrow band O2.

I was the lucky recipient of one of the dynotune switches that was given away but haven't installed it yet since I don't yet have a wide band.
I plan to buy one soon but would like to use it in the mean time
