Default New Best on the bottle.

Launching on the bottle is killing my traction. The ETStreets are almost holding in there some times it will hook then spin some times spin then hook. Never a dead hook. (Local track prep sucks also)
Any how here is my new best. On the 125shot
Sorry our local track is only a 1000' track. Guess it's better than 1/8
1.581-----60' (spinning with a 5500RPM clutch dump)
4.553-----330'
7.029-----1/8ET
100.08----1/8MPH
9.010-----1000'ET
114.24----1000'MPH
My MPH was down from last time but this time i didnt use the short belt or skinnys, No interior removal. Just drove there in daily driver form and changed the rear tires. I wanted to see what it would do like this. Now i regret it should have taken a LITTLE weight off to hit an 8 in the 1000'.
oh so close

i have never launched that hard on the spray. i tried a 4500 launch once and it almost threw me towards the wall.

try a lower rpm launch and let the tq from the jug pull you thru the 60 foot.

i usually leave at 3000-3500 and even on 26x10.5x16 et streets pulled a 1.58 60.

hmm ill have to try that again. Last time i was leaving about 4000 and it would bog a little untill 3000rpm hit and the window switch kicked in. I was getting 1.6 60's then. Ill have to try it again might work better if i can get it down. Ill try anything. LOL that's the same tire i'm running. Sounds like we would be close in time's. You know your 1/8 time&MPH? and 1000' time?

You'll get it worked out. Good first, Tim. Sell the ET Streets and get some slicks. HAL's on the front would help too with weight transfer (especially the Streets). Bet you hit the 8.xx first time.

Hey Pat, i do have hals. I have debated on some true slicks. I actually had a chance to buy Dane's complete set of dradlight's w/slicks and skinny's and passed it up. I think i'll just buy another set of skinny's and move the battery to the back and prep it like i use to. I think ill be in there.
Should have came out last night it got cool at the end of the night!

Had a conference call (work) at 7pm. Lots of things popping and lots of travel (FL to CA and back again). Otherwise I would have been there, and would have loved to see you run. Come by some time.

on my 11.0 run i had a 7.02 @ 99 mph, but im no speed shifter by any means. not sure about the 1000 foot time.

i would have to go look at the timeslip. what did you have the windoow set at? i stopped running mine due to my progressive controller not liking to work with it.

3000-6400 But i usually shift sooner on the spray like 6200. Dont know why just because it's climbing faster i guess.
