Nice looking Runs.. Congrates on the times. Im suprised you are getting away with 20 degrees on a 250 shot.. Maybe that is what is getting the gasket?

thanks dave, and check your pm's in a few, i need a kit for a friends car.

as for 20* i dont think so, i ran run after run after run with 100 shot with 26* in it **** it had to be 30 or so passes like this 9.0-9.3 passes with no issues, plugs looked great etc etc. with the real high compression, and the cam i have its more like a big block chevy

i think the gaskets went last time out, like i said last time out i smelt it a little, like burnt water wetter. then i took the car to the car shows a couple times, one of the times i ended up over heating it in traffic and it smelt like it worse and worse, and after that i had a full over flow tank, so i think it was junk befor.

not only that, but 4 bolt heads i never retourqed anything all season and had tons of passes. i think it was due for gaskets. im going to have the springs tested as well cuz after all the passes i have it may be time for new springs as well. 8,000 rpm over and over cant be easy on them. lol

then yesterday i used a used gasket. i saw it had a little tweek on the #5 lower side of the gasket i scuffed it up sprayed it with copper spray and made a bet i would loose it right there.
sure as ****, 2nd pass i lost it right there and you can see the drip right where its coming from.

i ordered new gaskets, im going to try to have the heads off and dropped off tomorow to get skimmed and test everything, then maybe go racing this weekend, or maybe do a track rental next week.
we'll see

i would have had the car apart last night, but i was alone and couldnt push it into my garage, and dont feel like risking firing it if there water in there

un loaded, threw a tune in it, put 2 tenths delay in the nitrous, 250 jets and tuned it safe.
went up, car hit good then when the spray kicked on it blew the tires a little bit car drove left had to lift a bit to shut off the spray, got back in it, short shifted it by about 300 rpm short (7200 rpm, and really i should have shifted at 7800) and ran it out the back.
ended up going an 8.77 @ 154.xx with a 1.34 short time.
125 in the 1/8th, got back and saw a couple drops of water, so i called it a day. started to take the car apart at the track, just got the head off and i hit #3 just a tad, i have a gasket here so im going to clean it up and throw it back together. hope to run a little faster tommorow.
gatta run. work time. vid to come

funny you say that, i was talking to my buddy last night and told him im going to call you guys end of the season and get a set up working, and put these for sale. 100% expect a call from me, and 100% set me up like you did last time

i brag about the finish work you guys did, the springs looked great, i didnt even want to put valve covers on them
