NOS plate kit wit a T56?
NOS plate kit wit a T56? I was wondering if there would b issues wit fuel puddling wit a plate kit while changing gears in a t56? I had a nozzle kit b4 and it worked great, then i sold it. Now i got a plate kit and i'm worried bout having a backfire! It will n wired up wit a full throttle switch but no window switch! THANKS n advance!

THe way i see a window switch is diff than a full trottle switch is it activates the juice at a desired RPM, both shut it off when ur not full throttle! U can bend valves and pushrods from overrevving. I c if i can find a cheap used window switch just to be on the safe side!
Another cheaper alternative would be to wire your arming switch into the clutch safety switch. More than likely if you miss a gear you are not going to take your foot off the clutch all the way. While it is still not fail proof, it's just a little extra security.
Given that you can pick up a window switch pretty cheap, the simple fix would be to simply buy one.
I went a step further and spent $150 on a progressive controller that has a built in WOT switch and window switch and it works like a dream. With the progressive controller it truly is a simple two step setup: Step One: press the button to arm the system. Step Two: Slam it to the floor. It makes life so much easier in a 6-speed.
