Anyone looking at this ad knows that these last forever. Rated at 200 watts per channel x 7 channels! This model is very underrated, and will actually put out closer to 300 watts per channel, for a total of 2100 watts of power for your home theater!! I have sold systems using 5 channels of this amplifier to power a home theater, and the other two channels powering as many as 40 whole house audio speakers!! There are Mcintosh amps over 30 years old that are still going strong!! You can still buy parts for them. Hook any home theater surround sound receiver with rca-pre outs to this amp for the ultimate sound experience. Truly the best amp in the world! Weighs 116 lbs!!!

The MC207 is the most flexible McIntosh multi-channel amplifier. With seven 200 watt channels available the MC207 is the perfect choice for 7.1 home theaters or 5.1 theaters with the remaining 2 channels utilized for a second stereo zone. Can be used to power a 5.1 system, plus a whole house audio system!

Although it is housed in the traditional McIntosh glass faceplate, this amplifier is the first model that utilizes the DYNAMIC POWER MANAGERTM (DPMTM) circuit design that outputs 200 watts per channel through its 7-channels regardless whether the load is 4 or 8 ohms.

The eye-catching design of the MC207 features a mirror polished stainless steel chassis and traditional McIntosh glass front panel. Three True Power Peak Responding Watt meters provide real time power information while long lasting fiber-optic/LED front panel illumination insures user-friendly control and a beautiful appearance. The first amplifier to employ the newly-developed Dynamic Power Manager (DPM) circuit design, the MC207 delivers a full 200 watts x 7 channels into either 4 or 8-Ohm loudspeakers for maximum performance.
