This laptop is in good working condition. The hard drive was upgraded to 160 GB and memory upgraded to 1 GB. System performance is good especially since it has a 3.06 GHz CPU and integrated wireless B/G NIC. The screen looks great and the battery lasts up to 2.5 hours depending on usage and settings. Windows XP Professional is installed and has been fully updated and is running service pack 3. Also, Office 2003 has been installed and is fully updated with the latest service pack and patches. All system drivers and HP programs have been installed and are running properly. Antivirus software has also been added for extra protection. The overall appearance is very good with normal wear and tear. The speakers seem to make a crackling sound when the computer plays the Windows startup and shutdown WAVs, but playback of CDs and movies does not appear to be affected and the sound is very good. Overall the laptop is great and very clean. There are a couple of issues: 1. The little plastic cover for the wireless LED light is missing, but the LED light and switch still work perfectly. 2. The floppy drive does not appear to work, and the plastic cover for the drive is also missing. None of these affect the system, unless you planned on using floppy disks. Everything else has been tested and appears to be fully functional. A restore DVD will also be included in case the computer needs to be restored to its original state. Please feel free to ask me any additional questions.

It is there. Look at either the 3rd or 4th picture. Look about 1" to the right of where the whole is for the LCD lid to lock into place. It is just a tiny whole with no plastic covering it like the three others to the left.
