youd prolly be better off just buying cheap controller cases, customizing them, and selling just the case. then have the buyer pay shipping to them. people want cheap stuff. that way you have better room for profit.
and the only way to keep the paint from coming off is to use krylon fusion and a good clear coat. if you dont clear coat it good it WILL come off. the heat from your hands will weaken it. so thats at least $5 worth of paint, granted u dont use all of it on one controller. if youre doing multiple colors its going to cost a little more.
