I received the tach today, but the stand/mount mentioned in the ad was not in the box.

As you can see in the pic, theres no stand, the shift light is just sitting on top of the tach, not attached, the mount/stand is what attaches the shift light to the tach and allows it to be mounted, sorry for the misunderstanding but that piece not pictured is in the box.
