Default G.I. LE2 motor

Hey guys. I just finished my car but unfortunately I have to part it out . I'm going to try and sell the motor whole first before I take it apart and sell the pieces. Here's what it has.

355 shortblock
Speed pro forged pistons (fly cut for the big cam) set .005 in the hole
Sealed power moly file fit rings
Eagle 5140 rods with ARP rod bolts
Stock GM crank polished
ARP main stud kit
Block decked, bored and honed, line honed,
Clevite H rod and main bearings
Fed. Mogul cam bearings
Static compression ratio is 12.4 to 1

Now to the real goodies:
LE2 heads. Flow 284/195 at .600 lift. 50cc chambers, patriot springs good for .650 lift with ARP head bolts. 2.00/1.56 valves.
LE ported Intake manifold painted red. Cut for monoblade. With FMS 42lb injectors and fuel rails
LE custom cam 23x/24x .59x/.59x with 1.6 rockers on a 108 lsa.
Comp pro mags 7/16 stud 1.6 ratio
ARP rocker studs
Trick flow 7.15 inch chromoly pushrods
Stock LT1 lifters
Trick flow guideplates

Everything else I can think of:

Mr. Gasket 5716 .026 head gaskets
Milodon oil pan gasket
Lunati plus timing set for 92-94 LT1(basically a stock replacement with Lunati's name)
Timing cover plugged for EWP use
Fel-pro intake gaskets
Stock valve covers clearanced for rockers
Fel-pro valve cover gaskets
New rear main seal

I think that's about it but if I think of anything else I'll add it. This motor was built to handle lots of HP and lot of RPM's too. I planned to shift at 7k. I think that with a 6 speed and 10 bolt 430 rwhp is very attainable. All parts except the pistons, rods and crank only have 29 miles, yes 29. The pistons, rods, and crank have about 5k. I bought the shortblock and then decided to go ahead and put new bearings and rings in and have some machine work done to basically make it a new motor. It's not broken in yet obviously but it runs PERFECTLY. Absolutely zero issues. Has not seen over 3500 rpm yet. It's a great motor I just need the money. It hurts to have done all this work and then sell but I pretty much have to. The machine work was done by Wayne Calvert Racing Engines in Denton, Texas. They've been in business for like 50 years and we've been having them do work for us for a long time. They're work is top of the line. I was told by them that this motor could easily hold more than 600 hp and a good shot of nitrous. The only "catch" really is that the motor is still sitting in the car. But I can pull it in a weekend no problem. If you're local to the Dallas area you would be more than welcome to come listen to it. It has over $5,500 worth of parts and I have a good idea of what I can get out of everything seperate. The motor will not have the front accesories, opti, water pump, plugs, wires, or balancer. Just the longblock with intake manifold and TB. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

$3700. If shipped you pay shipping and paypal buyers will need to cover the fee. Money orders or cashiers check would probably be better to save some money.

Yes it's currently running great on 93. Reverse cooling is your friend

Thanks for the compliments guys. I put alot of time and obviously money into this motor. But things aren't real good right now.

If you end up parting it, I'd be interested in the short block!

Damn man, if I wasnt in the sandbox over here I would be all over that motor. I already have a LE head and cam kit but need a new shortblock, but thats a good deal.

What times/goals were you hoping for with this motor?

Good luck with the sale, bump for you.

Thanks man. I'm pretty confident my 94 TA would have gone low low 11's and made more than 430 rwhp. It was pretty much an all out build. Just need some money now. I'm about to start parting the motor out though so if anyone wants it they need to jump in quick.

If the complete motor doesn't sell by Friday I think I will part it out, not 100% sure just yet though. There's alot of money in the gaskets and what not to be parting but I may have to.
