I have two 3800 drivetrain setups that are for parts.
1996 3.8 114,XXX Miles
The transmission worked fine when engine failure occurred. It is complete minus pcm.
1998 3.8 109,XXX Mile
It is complete and actually still runs. It has a slight knock to the bottom end. It is repairbable at this point I would say. We pulled it out and put an LS1 setup in the car. It was running and driving the transmission is definitely good.
Let me know if you need any parts off of either or want to pick a complete setup up.

Too bad you're so far away. I could use a 4l60e, AC compressor, power steering pump, and a starter to finish off my 3800. Even without the tranny, shipping those parts North of the 49th parallel would probably kill whatever savings you could offer me though.
Good luck with the sale!
