Default Accel 32 lb/hr Fuel Injectors Walboro 255

I have 8 Accel 32 lb/hr Fuel Injectors for sale. They are all in perfect working and cosmetic condition and are accel part number acc-150832. These are the yellow body injectors and they all still have both O-Rings attached and in good shape. They are 32 lb/hr at 43.5 PSI and are 37 lb/hr at 58 PSI. I believe these will also fit some LS applications. I am looking for $155 shipped.

Thanks
Mike V.

Yes, but you need to reprogram your PCM to account for the higher flow injectors.

Bump for a good price!!!

Default yes

if you have lt1edit or a simillar software its an easy change, I could guide you through it.... but yes you do need to tell the computer there are bigger injectors

Depending on your setup, you don't need bigger injectors. My buddy had a very mild 383 and he was running stock injectors on only like 86% duty cycle at WOT.. Just a heads up. But these are nicely priced. GLWS

Default really?

Wow, it couldn't have been a very potent 383...I nearly had these maxed out on my 355! Right now I've got 48's in my new 385 and those are at 80%. And I'm gonna need at least 96's for my F1A Procharger this winter.

im going to be running a 355 with the cc503 cam, gasketmatch ported heads and intake 58 mm tb, 2600 stall, 1.6 rockers, flat top pistons. would i need to go this high in injector size? im having the comp retuned my madtuner.

Default Its all a matter of airflow.....

Its all a matter of the VE of the motor and the power you think you will be making. Heres a quick formula to determine approximate injector need:

(Horsepower * BSFC) / (# of Injectors * (max duty cycle %/100)) = lb/hr per injector

BSFC is your Brake Specific Fuel Consumption which is between .45 and .5 for a Naturally Aspirated Motor

So.... In the case of my motor
I make a little over 600 crank so......

(615 * .48) / (8*.80) = 46.156lb/hr per Injector

And to prove this works I have logged my 48lb/hr injectors at 76% Duty Cycle at 48 PSI!!!

I'd rather help you out than try to just sell my parts; I can't honestly say if you will need them or not but as an example:

My old 355 was a 11.2:1 domed piston motor with TFS 195cc heads that I polished. A AI Hydraulic cam that was pretty big 23x/24x .600 lift on a 106lsa and a ported stock intake with 58mm TB. That motor pulled these injectors (32lb/hr) to about 90%. So for me I needed them. What I can tell you though is they will create much better atomization than the stockers and also you will have the extra fuel on tap just incase you do overwork the stock ones, which I think you do have a decent chance of doing. Just run the math and you can get a good estimate, if your in the 400 flywheel HP range then I would probably recommend them.

you might need bigger injectors but i would look into a little larger stall

Default another experince for you.....

The cc503 is a 224/230 .536.544 112LSA. The first cam I had in my 355 was a crane that was almost the same I had a 222/230 .538/.548 112LSA. I initally put a 3000 stall in it, but I was looking for a street but mostly strip car. A 2600 would probably be good for a daily driver in that car. But if you do have the traction and an external trans cooler then I wouldn't be afraid to jump up to the 3000. 2800-3000 is about as high as I would want to drive often on the street. I've had a 3000, 3200, 3600, 4000 and 4200 (now) on the street; but I'm going back to a 2800-3000 when I put the blower on the car. Also something I noticed is that my first converter; a TCI, drove like absolute garbage on the street. But when I went to a 3600 vigilante it drove better than the 3000 TCI. So I'd reccomend a 2600-3600 vigilante depending on what your application is from street to strip and also your traction. In my opinion I like 2800, its like a perfect balance of drivibility and power transfer.

this will be a strictly street only car, its my only car and im not putting it on the strip and tearing it up, its been down to long as it is now, so i think 2600 will be perfect for that app. now back to the injectors lol. mad tuner is a good tune for the upgrade in injectors and supporting mods?
