LT1 engine...T-56...sale from 97 T/A hey guys. got an LT1 engine still in the car (97 Trans Am 86,000miles). runs but has a loud, fast, knock. not sure if its a rod bering, or something in the head. but when it runs it runs fine. so guessing its not a valve... anyways its there for the taking.
taking reasonable offers or trades on the engine...
also have the T-56 that came out of the same car. in great shape
has a short shiffter installed. $800 obo
willing to possibly trade on both of these. i would like an auto trany, th400 or so in good shape. but let me know what you may have to offer...
def. need a new motor so any info help!!!

transmission ill trade an auto that will work great with a stock motor to the 6 speed. ill trade you the transmission and 300 dollars. it has a b and m shift kit thats been in for 80 miles. its a stock 4l60e out of a 96 ta. i would also like all of the pedals transmission crossmember and all that stuff. if your interested let me know and ill give you my phone number so we can work out a trade.
as for the engine i have a block that has been line bored and bored 30 over and had all machine work done and read for reassembly.. i think we can work out something....i dont need the block.
