1996 LT1 Engine and Transmission Dropout 999.99! CLEVELAND PICK A PART IS PROUD TO OFFER THIS 1996 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS 5.7L LT1 DROPOUT!
This engine produces 260 HP @ 4,800 RPM and 330 LB-FT of torque @ 3,200 RPM!
This package will include the engine, transmission, engine accessories, engine harness, air flow meter, engine computer, and pedal!
Here is the VIN from this Impala: 1G1BL52P9TR104888.
The speedometer was not able to light up. Estimated mileage is around 150K.
There is a small chip on one of the transmission bolt holes, which is pictured.
This motor and transmission are backed by our standard 90-day warranty!
Before we start each engine, we remove all the spark plugs and hand turn the engine over to make sure no oil has passed the rings.
We do a compression test to make sure the rings, valves, and head gaskets are properly sealed.
We do a vacuum test to make sure there are no burned or sticking valves, collapsed lifters, or vacuum leaks.
We do a oil pressure test at cold start up and warm operating temperature to ensure proper bearing clearance, that there are no restrictions in the oiling system, and that there are no exhaust gases in the cooling system.
We inspect the automatic transmissions by draining and inspecting the fluid for contamination or burnt fluid. We then remove the filter and check for debris or foreign material. We then refill the transmission with new fluid and run test it through all of the gears to ensure it shifts properly. If any problems are found, the transmission will be torn down for inspection and repaired as necessary.
Compression was a TIGHT 215 over 195: 1-215 2-210 3-200 4-195 5-200 6-205 7-210 8-215
Oil pressure was 50 pounds cold and 40 pounds warm
Vacuum was a SOLID 20 inches
