Have a new pair of 2.5" super heavy duty Ballistic or Johnny Joints as most people call them. These are much stronger than the Currie units and they are adjustable, you can make them loose or tighter and as they wear you can adjust the Nylatron cups unstead of having to rebiuild them. Forged from 4140 steel, 9/16 through bolt, comes with 1.5" tubing adapters and jam nuts.
